The gargoyle at left entitled "Grunta" is an original design by sculptor Syd Breeze, a native of Auckland, New Zealand. The sculpture took home first place honors in the inaugural "Solid Award for Statuary" competition as best new garden statue for the year 1999. Sponsored annually by Solid Citizen, was announced at the industry's annual convention held Jan 10/12 2000, in Piegeon Forge, Tenn.
